As an all-girls school, Loreto College has a learning environment tailored to how girls learn best. Research shows that girls and boys learn differently and that girls in girls’ schools achieve significantly stronger academic results than any other group in Australia.
At Loreto, our girls are free to pursue academic success and each achievement is celebrated. All activities are open to girls providing opportunities to participate, influence and lead – there is no gender stereotyping. Although we are not an academically selective school, our students achieve some of the best Year 12 results in the state and our student performance in the National Assessment Program — Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) tests is consistently above average.
Outside of the classroom, Loreto offers a wide range of activities for your daughter to explore. Performing Arts — music, dance and drama — are very popular with many international students, as well as a wide variety of sports, community service and leadership opportunities.
